THE LATE MAHGOUB ALI

       

The late Mahgoub Ali (1938-2007)  The Founder of Asasat Industrial Group in Sudan  The late and highly respected Mahgoub Ali was born in 1938 in Hasaheisa, Gezira province, Sudan and graduated from Khartoum University and obtained a Khartoum university degree, Cambridge Certificate in 1962.

This innovative individual was Chairman of the leading press house during the 1970’s-1980 Al Ayam newspaper.

A greatly influential person who was the Secretary of The Supreme Higher Councils in the ruling party Sudan Socialist Union in the 1970’s. 

With an exceptional record of achievements in his life time which includes the following highly respected roles; 

Vice President and co-founder of TexTrade Industrial Group 1968 - 1974

Member of the Central Committee of the Ruling party 1977- 1985 

Last Deputy Governor of Gezira Province and first Governor of Gezira Province, part of Middle Region of Sudan after the commencing of the new Federal governing regime in Sudan late 1970th. 

Chairman of Husam Eldin Trading Establishment 1980th Chairman of Nile Aluminium Factory 1980th

Chairman of National Group for Petroleum and International Projects (NGPIP), UAE 1980’s 

Chairman of Exir Petro Services, Switzerland 1990’s. 

Chairman of Rawaj Trade Corporation, there after Asasat Industrial Group
